Analysis of Common Faults in Each Layer of Steel Wire Braided Rubber Hose
Time:2022-03-31Page views:3659With the rapid development of science and technology, the quality requirements for steel wire braided rubber hoses are becoming increasingly high, and they belong to hydraulic hoses. For people who are using hydraulic hoses for the first time, the usage environment of hydraulic hoses will directly affect their effectiveness. Hydraulic hoses are generally used in the industrial industry and are very common, so the demand is basically high.
However, if people do not pay attention to the usage environment and use it in strong acid and alkali environments, hydraulic hoses will naturally corrode. Alternatively, when used in high-temperature environments, steel wire braided rubber hoses may melt. Common causes of hydraulic hose failures:
1、 Internal adhesive layer malfunction
The obvious expansion of the inner adhesive layer may be due to the corrosion of the material of the inner adhesive layer by the medium passing through, or the temperature exceeding the specified temperature. Therefore, when replacing the hose, it is important to understand whether the hose is composite with the passing medium and whether it can withstand the working temperature. If not, it is necessary to replace the steel wire braided rubber hose with a better quality one.
2、 External adhesive layer failure
When cracks are found in the outer adhesive layer, the first thing to observe is whether there is a problem with the inner adhesive layer. If there is no problem with the inner adhesive layer, it may be that the outer adhesive layer has been cut by a sharp object or cracked by severe cold. Therefore, do not move the hose in cold outdoor environments. If there are bulges in the outer adhesive layer, first check whether it is a quality problem or improper use. Refer to the malfunction of the inner adhesive layer.
3、 Enhancement layer failure
The reinforcement layer is mainly made of steel wire weaving or winding, all of which are metal fabrics. If it is corroded, it is easy to rust, which will weaken its strength and cause it to break under high pressure. This situation is usually accompanied by the phenomenon of outer layer cracking and wear. If the joint breaks, it may be because the joint is not tightly sealed and moisture enters the reinforcement layer.
The above are the common reasons for faults in each layer of steel wire braided rubber hoses. During application, attention should be paid to any abnormalities in the hose to ensure safety during use.
