High pressure steel wire braided rubber hose can withstand high hydraulic pressure, has ductility, and has a steel wire braided layer on the surface, which is widely used in industrial production and daily life.

1、 Storage

1. Rubber hoses should not be placed together with corrosive substances and should be powered by a heat source.

2. The temperature of the warehouse where the rubber hoses are stored should be between zero and 35 degrees Celsius. And attention should be paid to natural ventilation, with air humidity below 80% and protection from direct sunlight.

3. When stored, it should be possible to loosen. Generally, those with an inner diameter of 76mm or less can be stored in coils, but the inner diameter of the coil should not be less than 15 times the inner diameter.

4. When storing, different placement should be made according to different models and specifications, and proper labeling should be done during storage.

5. To prevent deformation of the rubber hose during storage, it should not be stacked too high. Generally, the stacking height should not exceed 1.5m and it is required to be stacked upside down.

6. Do not stack hanging objects on the rubber hose during storage to prevent external rubbing and damage.

7. The storage period of general rubber hoses does not exceed 2 years. Use advanced warehouses first to prevent hydraulic rubber hoses from becoming brittle and endangering their quality.

2、 Installation

1. Temperature

When the ambient temperature is high, the service life of high-pressure rubber hoses will be reduced, so it is necessary to stay away from heat sources as much as possible to avoid thermal deterioration at high temperatures.

2. Avoid surface friction

Do not touch other pipelines during installation and use to avoid damage to the pipe body caused by friction. When crossing or friction may occur during work, protective devices (hose clamps/springs) should be used;

3. Bending

When bending is required during use, avoid urgent parts with a bending radius r ≥ (9-10) d (d is the outer diameter of the hose), and the straight line from the joint to the beginning of the bending should be greater than 6 times the outer diameter of the pipe;

4. When installing high-pressure steel wire braided rubber hoses, the corresponding length allowance should be retained to avoid the hose being in a tight state. There is no relative movement between the two ends, and the hose should remain loose. When the hose is compressed, its length and diameter will change, so the stretched hose will expand under pressure, resulting in a decrease in strength;

5. Elbows and joints should be installed on the same plane to prevent twisting. In special circumstances, if the joints at both ends of the pipe need to be on two different planes, clamps should be installed at appropriate positions to divide the rubber hose into two parts, so that each part is on the same plane.

Poor airtightness of the outer adhesive layer can cause rusting of the steel wire, while poor airtightness of the inner adhesive layer makes it easy for the medium to enter the steel wire layer, resulting in insufficient adhesion between the steel wire layer and the adhesive layer.
