There are many precautions when installing steel wire braided rubber hoses, and even a slight mistake may lead to problems. Therefore, this article is used to remind everyone of the points to pay attention to when installing steel wire wrapped hoses!

1. The curvature radius of the rubber hose should be more than 10 times larger than the diameter of the pipeline. The rubber hose bends in the pipeline connection of the hydraulic system, or the bending amount changes continuously with the movement of the actuator. To avoid breakage or deviation of the hose during use, its curvature radius should be greater than 10 times the diameter of the pipe.

2. It must work within the specified curvature radius. If the bending radius is only half of the specified radius, it cannot be used, otherwise the service life will be greatly shortened. To avoid sharp turns, the bending radius r should be ≥ (9-10) d (where d is the outer diameter of the steel wire braided hose), and do not bend near the base of the joint. 3. During installation and operation, there should be no twisting. When the hose moves, it is not allowed to twist.

4. At the joint, the steel wire wrapped rubber hose should hang freely to avoid bending due to its own weight.

5. The bending of the hydraulic system steel wire braided rubber hose should be on the same plane as the installation and movement plane of the joint to prevent torsion. But in special circumstances, if the joints at both ends of the wire wound hose need to move on two different planes, fixtures should be installed at appropriate positions to divide the wire wound hose into two parts, so that each part moves on the same plane.

6. It should be installed at the shortest distance or along the outline of the equipment, and arranged as parallel as possible. If it is too long or subjected to severe vibration, it should be clamped with a clamp. But for those used under high pressure, clamps should be used as little as possible because they will deform under pressure and friction will occur at the clamp.

7. Connect the pipeline with a rubber hose, and the length should not be too tight. There should be a certain length margin to allow the hose to have a certain bending force and prevent damage to the hose; When the wire wound rubber hose is compressed, both the length and diameter will change (the length change is generally around 4%). Therefore, in the case of bending use, bending cannot start immediately from the end joint; When using in a straight line, do not stretch between the end joint and the steel wire braided rubber hose, but consider a certain length margin to make it loose.

8. Do not come into contact with other rubber hoses or pipelines to avoid wear and tear. They can be separated by clamps or appropriately considered in pipeline design; During installation, the hose should avoid contact with other components. Relative motion friction can damage the hose.

9. The steel wire braided rubber hose of the hydraulic system works at high temperatures and has a very short service life. It should be installed as far away from heat sources as possible, and if necessary, heat shields should be installed.
