Production and manufacturing process of steel wire braided rubber hose
Time:2022-09-26Page views:3526There are many equipment and types of raw materials for manufacturing steel wire braided rubber hoses, and the production process is complex. Further improvements will be made according to environmental or technical requirements.
1、 Manufacturing process
1. Mix the inner layer adhesive, middle layer adhesive, and outer layer adhesive according to the formula using a mixer, extrude the inner tube using an extruder, and apply it to the soft or hard core coated with release agent (liquid nitrogen freezing method does not require a tube core).
2. Use a rolling mill to press the middle rubber sheet, add isolation agent and cut it into the specified width according to the process requirements.
3. On a winding or weaving machine, weave copper plated steel wire onto a rubber tube containing a core. At the same time, wrap the middle layer of rubber sheet between two layers of copper plated steel wire or copper plated steel wire on the weaving machine, and tie the ends of the wrapped steel wire.
4. Apply another layer of outer adhesive on the extruder, and then wrap the lead or cloth with a vulcanized protective layer.
5. Sulfurization is carried out through a vulcanizing tank or salt bath.
6. Remove the sulfurized protective layer, extract the core, fasten the pipe joint, and take samples for pressure testing.
2、 Reasons for problems with unqualified steel wire braided rubber hoses
1. The vulcanization of the rubber hose has not reached positive vulcanization, manifested as under sulfurization or over sulfurization. If these two reasons prevent the various attribute functions from meeting the requirements, resulting in problems during use.
2. The thickness of the rubber hose wall is uneven, especially the inner rubber layer.
3. The wire weaving or winding process was not carried out according to the design process, and the wire weaving was too tight or too loose, resulting in significant deformation (elongation, shortening, or bending deformation) of the rubber hose during use (under pressure).
4. Poor airtightness of the outer layer of adhesive leads to corrosion of the steel wire.
5. The poor sealing performance of the inner rubber makes it easy for high-pressure oil to enter the steel wire layer.
6. The adhesion between the adhesive layer and the steel wire layer is insufficient.
The above content is the production process of steel wire braided rubber hoses. The production process using plastic or thermoplastic elastomers as the main material can be simplified appropriately, but the raw material price is relatively high, and rubber is still the main raw material.
